The quote that was never chased
A quote goes out, the buyer goes quiet, and the person who sent it is already on the next order. Nobody decided to drop it; it simply had no owner after the send.
Pipeline that looks healthy and converts badly.
SOLUTIONS · DISTRIBUTION & WHOLESALE
A distributor loses margin in the quiet places: the quote nobody chased, the stock question answered two days late, the account that stopped reordering and nobody noticed. Connect works that queue continuously — reading the enquiry, pulling up the account's history, answering on the channel the buyer used, and asking you before it commits to anything that costs you money.
One dealer enquiry, end to end
Every step above is a real action in the product, and every one of them is written to the dealer's record. The documentation names the screen each one lands on.
THE BUSINESS PROBLEM
It loses them in the gap between an enquiry arriving and somebody getting to it — and in the follow-up that was always going to happen tomorrow.
A quote goes out, the buyer goes quiet, and the person who sent it is already on the next order. Nobody decided to drop it; it simply had no owner after the send.
Pipeline that looks healthy and converts badly.
"Do you have it, and when can I get it?" is a decision window, not a conversation. Answered next morning, the buyer has already asked somebody else.
Losing on response time, not on price.
A dealer who ordered monthly for two years orders nothing for four months. There is no alert for an absence, so nobody notices until the annual review.
Churn discovered long after it could be reversed.
What was agreed on price, what went wrong on that shipment, who signs off — it exists, in a mailbox, on a phone, in somebody's memory. Not where the next person needs it.
Every handover starts the relationship again.
None of this is a discipline problem. It is arithmetic: a list of several hundred accounts generates more small, time-sensitive obligations than a small team can hold.
THE CONNECT WORKFLOW
Connect runs the same loop for every account on your list. You decide where it acts on its own and where it stops and asks.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
Research real businesses that fit the profile you describe — trade, region, size — with the evidence behind each one, and no invented contact details. The opening refers to the actual business, not a mail merge, and is sent from the mailbox and identity you connected.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
An enquiry lands on sales@, quotes@, the phone line or WhatsApp. It is matched to the dealer it belongs to rather than filed as a new contact, and opens with that account's history attached: last order, open quotes, agreed terms, unresolved disputes.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
"Do you carry it, in what pack size, and when can I get it?" is answered from the product and policy knowledge you approved. If the knowledge does not cover the question, it escalates rather than improvises.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
Volumes, categories, delivery expectation, decision maker, payment terms — captured onto the company record as structured fields, not buried in a thread.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
A request for pricing is taken down with the specifics that decide it — lines, quantities, delivery point, terms — and anything missing is asked for on the channel the buyer used, so the quote is prepared from what was actually requested.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
Priced against the rules you set for that account tier. Inside the rules it goes out; outside them it waits for you in Needs You with the request, the history and the number it would have sent.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
Every open quote carries a scheduled next action. Chasing is a queue the system drains, not something a person has to remember on a busy week.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
The opportunity moves with the conversation, so the pipeline reflects what was actually said rather than what someone updated on Friday. Confirmations, changes and delivery questions stay on the record the quote came from.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
Short shipments, damaged stock, invoice queries — handled as cases against the same account, with the order history already attached.
Hover, tap or tab any part.
Reorder timing, seasonal patterns and unusual silence become the reason for the next conversation. You can ask Connect which accounts have gone quiet, and a reactivation approach is prepared from what you last agreed and what they last bought — under the same approval rules as any other outbound message.
The loop does not restart between stages, and it does not restart between years. A support case in month nine still has the qualification call from month one attached to it, and a reactivation message in year two opens with the terms agreed in year one.
EMAIL · PHONE · WHATSAPP
A dealer who emails the office, calls the mobile and messages on WhatsApp is one relationship. Connect treats it as one.
Your real mailboxes — sales@, quotes@, orders@, the branch addresses — connected and routed by business identity. Threads are read, understood and replied to in context, and the full conversation lands on the account record whichever address it arrived at.
Inbound and outbound calls on a real-time voice layer, with transcript and summary written back to the same account the emails belong to.
The channel most trade buyers actually use. Inbound messages and replies run through the same rules, the same knowledge and the same approval gate as email.
Which channels are live for you depends on the accounts and provider numbers you connect during setup. SMS sending and call recording depend on the carrier and are confirmed, not assumed, in your pilot.
RELATIONSHIP MEMORY
Most tools store messages. Connect keeps the account: what was agreed, what went wrong, who decides, and what happens next.
What a dealer record holds
RULES · PERMISSIONS · APPROVALS
Autonomy is a setting, not a personality. You choose it per workspace and you can change it the moment something feels wrong.
Connect prepares everything and sends nothing. Useful for the first weeks, when you are still calibrating tone and content.
Routine replies go out; anything consequential stops in Needs You with the full context attached.
It acts on its own inside the boundary you defined, and escalates the moment a request touches the edge of it.
Every action Connect takes is recorded — what it did, on whose authority, and the evidence it used. An approval is a decision with a name on it, not a silent automation.
BEFORE VS WITH CONNECT
Nothing here is a claim about results. It is a description of where the work moves.
Today
Sits until morning. The buyer asks two other suppliers in the meantime.
With Connect
Answered from approved knowledge within minutes, on the channel it arrived on.
Today
Chased if somebody remembers, which depends on how the week went.
With Connect
Carries a scheduled follow-up from the moment it is sent, until it is won, lost or withdrawn.
Today
Noticed at the quarterly review, if at all.
With Connect
A break in an established ordering pattern is a visible signal with a next action against it.
Today
Their mailbox holds the relationship. The handover is a folder and a conversation.
With Connect
The relationship is on the record, with history, agreements and open obligations intact.
Today
Re-explained by the customer from the beginning to whoever picks it up.
With Connect
Opened as a case against an account that already has the order, the thread and the call attached.
Today
An auto-reply that says somebody will be in touch.
With Connect
A real answer inside your rules, with anything consequential queued for you by name.
BUSINESS OUTCOMES
Connect does not come with a number attached. These are the effects to measure against your own baseline during a pilot.
Enquiries are answered when they arrive rather than when someone reaches them, including outside working hours.
How you would measure it: Median time from enquiry received to first substantive reply, by channel, before and during the pilot.
Every quote carries a scheduled chase, so the follow-up rate stops depending on how busy the week was.
How you would measure it: Share of open quotes with at least one follow-up inside seven days.
The accounts too small to justify a weekly call still get contacted, because contacting them costs no one an hour.
How you would measure it: Number of distinct accounts that had a real conversation this month.
The relationship survives holidays, illness and resignation because it is not stored in a mailbox.
How you would measure it: Time to bring a new team member to full handling on an existing account.
Every one of these is measurable from the record Connect writes. If a pilot does not move them for your business, that is a finding, and we would rather you found it in four weeks than after a year.
DEPLOYMENT
A pilot that starts with everything is a pilot nobody can judge. This starts with one mailbox and one set of rules.
One mailbox, your business identity and — if you are using them — the phone line and WhatsApp number. Nothing is scraped and no password is shared.
Product range, price structure, delivery terms, the answers you already send every week. This is the knowledge Connect is allowed to speak from.
Autonomy mode, discount and credit limits, and the list of things that must always come to a person. Most distributors start in Draft only.
Connect prepares every reply and sends none. You read them, correct the ones that are wrong, and see exactly how it would have handled your week.
Turn on sending for the categories you are confident about, keeping pricing and commitments behind approval. Widen only where the drafts were already right.
Response times, follow-up coverage and accounts touched, measured against the numbers you started with — then a decision either way.
Existing email continues to work throughout. Connect joins your mailbox; it does not replace it, and you can return to handling a thread yourself at any point.
TRUST & LIMITATIONS
A supplier that oversells to you now is a supplier that will oversell to your customers later.
QUESTIONS
It quotes inside the rules you set, and stops outside them. If an account asks for a discount past its tier, the draft waits in Needs You with the request, the account history and the number it would have sent. Pricing authority is a setting, and most businesses keep it with a person for the whole pilot.
Inbound WhatsApp and replies run through the same record, rules and approvals as email, and your business keeps using the WhatsApp Business app. The number you use is connected during setup; what is live for you is confirmed there rather than assumed here.
No. Connect joins the mailboxes you already use, with the provider's own authorisation. Your team keeps working in the same inbox, and a thread can be taken over by a person at any moment.
It can run the reactivation, with the relationship in front of it: what they last bought, what was agreed and what went wrong last time. Connect works from the conversations and records it holds — you can ask it which accounts have gone quiet — and a reactivation message passes the same approval rule as any other outbound. An ordering gap that exists only in your ERP is a list you point it at, not an alarm it raises.
It escalates. Questions that need knowledge you have not approved, a promise you have not authorised, or a decision above its permission level go to Needs You with the context attached. It does not guess about your stock, your lead times or your terms.
The draft-only week tells you about quality — you read what it would have sent. Response time and follow-up coverage move in the first weeks after sending is enabled. Anything about revenue takes a full sales cycle for your category, and we will say that rather than promise otherwise.
There is no public price list. Commercial terms follow JBRH-approved commercial configurations based on the channels, volume and scope you actually need — the pricing page explains what drives the number and how in-policy pricing or owner review is produced.
START HERE
A pilot is your accounts, your price rules and your approval boundaries — not a scripted demonstration. You will know inside a week whether the drafts are good enough to trust.
